Meet me in St. Louis

It’s a bad pun but one that’s getting lots of use this week, here in sunny Urbana, Illinois. The National Conference on Media Reform is happening this week end and many of my fellow media students are heading to it. In US terms it’s just down the road, being about two and a half hours away. Some of the more interesting (and well-known) speakers include Don Henley (yes that Don Henley), Seymour Hersh (who broke the My Lai and Abu Ghraib stories) and Naomi Klein.

I’m blogging from it for a number of outlets and also here on Tuppenceworth.
