Government and Privacy Talk in Trinity Tonight

For those who might be interested, there is a talk on “Government and Privacy in the Digital Age” in Trinity College tonight. Suw Charman, Executive Director of the UK’s Open Rights Group will be giving the keynote and TJ McIntyre of Digital Rights Ireland will be responding.

It’s chaired by Dr. Eoin O’Dell of Trinity’s Law Faculty as part of the Dublin Legal Workshop series of talks.

From DRI:

The talk will take place at 6.30pm on Friday 24th February, as part of the Dublin Legal Workshop series. It will take place in the Maxwell Lecture Theatre, on the first floor of the Hamilton Building (map), in Trinity College Dublin

I’ll be there, so if you’re thinking of going too, let me know in the comments, which I’ll be able to keep an eye on through my mobile. I’ll hunt you down and say hello.

I was hoping to get along to this but I have an evening tutorial and lectures which clash. It’d be great if there could be some note-taking and post-talk blogging here on tuppence.
