seeker

Falling down
through
Africian skies,
a perfect moon
with diamond rim
arrives,

luminious with hope.

Days on,
in blue, bleached morning,
a tissue of flesh appears,
shoulder sloping,
solitude dawning
she shades her eyes,
stops-up her ears.
