Eventually, after much irrelevant questioning about why I was talking to them and not the City Council and why I didn&#8217;t have a name (Answers: because their sign told me to, but didn&#8217;t give me a name, respectively) I was told that the Maintenance Section was dealing with my objection. I was also told that my E20 would be sent back to me as it wasn&#8217;t required and they would be writing to me officially.
