I have now heard from An Taisce, who intend to examine ‘very closely’ the application. According to the very forthcoming man I spoke to there, they would be objecting on very techincal grounds to the erecting of the railings I’ve written about below, blocking access to the front portico of the Four Courts building.
However he did say that it would be very valuable to have other people submitting individual objection or putting their name to a single objection. I intend to draw up such an objection and will post it here. Anyone who wants to add their name to it, I will get it to them by hook or crook. Though by hook is more trustworthy.
