BelmulletOriginally uploaded by Conor LawlessDuring August of this year I wrote a blizzard of letters for clients of McGarr Solicitors who were worried about their crab fishing pots. I'll be on this morning's Tubridy Show on RTE Radio one with Richard Delevan, late of the Sunday Tribune. The topic we've been set, like the leaving cert essay, to discuss is 'Political Hactivism'. UPDATE: The discussion can be heard here (Realplayer link) from 49 minutes in.
Some notes from my technology slot on the Right Hook. I like the radio, more than almost all television at this stage. I've hardly started to explore the wealth of shows that are available, but I'm already a fan of New York PBS station WNYC.
Above and beyond the call of duty, Conor O'Neill of Loudervoice gave me a call today to explain how to force Twitter to quit its playacting and let me finish jumping through the hoops to get people's texted eaterie reviews from their phones to the new Eateries blog.
I'm standing in for Karlin on the Right Hook's Technology slot next Monday. I thought I'd throw out an invite- if anyone thinks there's something I ought to cover or introduce to George's 80,000 or so listeners, leave a message. Make sure that a non-technical Classics graduate such as myself can understand it.
