I received a registered letter yesterday from the OPW dated 24 June 2005 as follows.

Re: Four Courts:- Objection to Part 9 Planning Consultation
Dear Mr. McGarr
I acknowledge receipt of your letter with regard to the above and I herewith return your payment of twenty euro as there is no obligatory charge in such instances.
Your observations are being considered by the Commissioners of Public Works at present and I will revert to you with their decision in due course.

When I subsequently rang the signatory, he told me that it would be about a fortnight before a substantive decision would issue. I’ll keep you posted if anything changes before then. Nice to get the E20 back though.
