The Fine Art of Burlesque

As the main site is effectively unalterable until the still-long-awaited restoration of my proper internet connection, I pass to you the latest message from Fluffy Dutton- Straight from the Pony’s mouth.

Newsflash!

The art of burlesque will be revealed to the world on 29th September, when Fluffy holds her first art exhibition at the Attic Gallery, 3 Clare Street,
Dublin 2.

The opening party is on 29th September and strictly by invitation. To go on the guest list e-mail [email protected] and I will reply by e-mail to confirm your place. Gatecrashers will be lashed soundly by my leather-clad bodyguard.

The main exhibition runs 30th September to 27th October and admission is by appointment. Ring 01 6784077 or e-mail [email protected] for full details.

A year on the dublin drag circuit is documented in a series of very, ahem, ‘original’ paintings and drawings. With dressing room frolics, giant drag queens and PonyGirls everywhere the eye can see, the pieces take a tour through teach-yourself tasselling and diva strops to pan-stik and the glare of the footlights.

Looking forward to seeing you there!

Fluffy D

P.S. Kisses to the readers who have recently written to me in person. I will be making my replies as soon as my feathers settle after a summer of non-stop burlesque! My pasties have twizzled At Galway Pride, Electric Picnic and The Spiegeltent so far, and I am giddy! And Mr M. Cuffe, you can be assured that a keyring and a personal invite to my exhibition will be winging their way to you as soon as I find my book of stamps (my desk is currently hidden beneath a giant feather boa).
