Shouldn’t hold your breath waiting for the OPW!

I would consider the delay a partial success. When the original objection to the proposed alterations was lodged in June, they exected a decision to be made in a fortnight. They seem to have pulled back from making a decision at speed, in response to the issues raised.

And, as a result, the portico remains unbarred.

Is a nil-all draw really a victory? (FAI rules don’t apply here).

All that has happened is that the weighty wheels of the bureaucracy have frustrated the bureaucrats rather than the citizenry.

But it is a game of two halves, or even 4 quarters, and somebody somewhere has just cut up a few oranges to hand around to the teams.

But well done that man in any event.
