I called the Property Maintenance Division of the OPW again today.
They confirmed that the HEO in that section would call me back today on my mobile in answer to my question regarding the status of the objection to the changes to the Portico.

Ahh… due process. I wonder if you could get an order to have the development undone on the grounds of being an unauthorised development, or will they just apply for retention?
