Tuppenceworth Meet-Up- More To Come

Hello all,
A cheery change from grumbling about the Four Courts broke through last week when Tuppenceworth, at close to no notice, had its first get together in real life.

Special thanks to Fergal, Mary, Emma and their friends for turning up and making sure that I didn’t stare out the window in the Library Bar all by myself. And we also had a chance to say hello to Fergal Breen who turned up to meet us. We were pleased that he felt that we made sense.

Emma also brought along a little sample of her artistic work, and there may be more of that anon on Tuppenceworth’s main site later in the year.

I had intended to take pictures of everyone all together. But then I forgot.

However, everyone thought it was an entertaining way to spend the evening and agreed that it ought to be repeated. I suspect it will be March before I can summon the wherewithal for it, but we’ll see how time takes us. At least this time I’ll give more than a few day’s notice. Hopefully, some of the fine people who expressed regret about not being about to make it this time might find themselves available then.

I had hoped to come along on the night, I guess I’ll have to call in when you meet up in March

    Hi,

Had a great time meeting with everyone and looking forward to the next time we get together. Thanks to Simon for organising the night as well as Tuppenceworth of course! My husband has just finished sorting out my paintings in electronic format and I will be sending them through soon. Just did my first full gig (with my performance troupe DoppelGang) in the George on 24th Feb so might be able to supply some amusing pics from that too!

    All the best

    Emma

Eagle eyed readers can catch some of DoppelGang’s performance on the Dublin City Channel
