I called the Property Maintenance Division of the OPW again today. They confirmed that the HEO in that section would call me back today on my mobile in answer to my question regarding the status of the objection to the changes to the Portico.
The newspapers during the past week have carried reports and official notifications regarding the changes to the security arrangements at the Four Courts.
I have spent a year teaching English in a middle school in the city of Weifang in Shandong Province in China. Weifang is one of many thriving industrial cities in East China. With sophisticated motorways, department stores, luxury hotels and a diverse manufacturing base Weifang tries to brand itself as a place for indigenous entrepreneurs and foreign investors.

Letters arrived into some legal offices today relating to the restriction of access to the Four Courts. They say15th September 2005Dear Applicant, I refer to your application for a security access card for use under new security arrangements at the Four Courts Complex. Your application has been successful and your card is enclosed herewith.
There is an exhibition on, called Box'd, in the Original Print Gallery in Temple Bar, which is the one with the big plate glass window opposite The Temple Bar Souvenir Shop. Grainne Dowling, whose work you can see on Tuppenceworth here, along with lots of other national and international artists, will have work on show.
The sharp-eyed reader, a class tuppenceworth aspires to cater for, will have noted that I broke with tradition recently and actually contributed to a discussion going on amongst Irish bloggers about forming a group to promote digital civil rights in Ireland. There it is now. Now, since then, happenings have happened and occurrences have occurred.
I just spoke to the person in the Property Maintenance Division regarding when a decision might issue in relation to the objection to the proposed alteration of the Four Courts portico. He said that he would be on holidays for a week next week and that he had passed copies of the documents to all the relevant parties. He expected a decision to issue shortly after his return.
