As the main site is effectively unalterable until the still-long-awaited restoration of my proper internet connection, I pass to you the latest message from Fluffy Dutton- Straight from the Pony's mouth. ***Newsflash. The art of burlesque will be revealed to the world on 29th September, when Fluffy holds her first art exhibition at the Attic Gallery, 3 Clare Street,Dublin 2.
There is an exhibition on, called Box'd, in the Original Print Gallery in Temple Bar, which is the one with the big plate glass window opposite The Temple Bar Souvenir Shop. Grainne Dowling, whose work you can see on Tuppenceworth here, along with lots of other national and international artists, will have work on show.
Mr Kincaid has responded to Dr Ernest Engles' article "As Big A Liar As John Pope". In case people have missed it, as the discussion forum is not a heavily frequented location, I reproduce it here. As Big A Liar As John PopeNo doubt the use of nuclear weapons against Japan was a terrible decision that cost many thousands of lives.

El Greco's St Francis Receiving The Stigmata is the first of a series of short reflections on pieces in the National Gallery of Ireland on Merrion Square. I do have a rather handsome photograph of the painting, which I would like to post alongside the essay, but unfortunately the copyright provisions of the National Gallery seek to prevent me from doing so.
